Vladdy Iskhakov hails as an alumnus of the Mercer University Physical Therapy program, finishing his studies as a doctor of Physical Therapy, graduating with honors, and successfully completing his board certification in the summer of 2021. Vladdy began his PT career as an acute care physical therapist at Piedmont Atlanta Hospital, where he gained experience treating patients in various environments, including step-down neuro, step-down ICU, oncology, post-op orthopedic, general surgery, as well as transplants.
Eventually, he expanded his practice by opening up his own private outpatient orthopedic physical therapy clinic, with aims to work specifically with the geriatric community. Soon after opening up his own private practice, Vladdy became interested in learning about nerve conduction studies and needle EMG, and began pursuing these interests.
Currently, Vladdy is a resident in training with IDX, and being mentored by some of the most prolific clinicians in the area of electrodiagnostic imaging. He also serves as an adjunct professor at South College, where he teaches labs and practical skill sets for the cardio-pulmonary and movement science courses.
In his free time, Vladdy enjoys spending time with his wife and 3 children. He is also a professional musician, and spends time producing, recording, and composing music for films in his private recording studio.
